For over 140 years the World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo has never missed a beat.  Many consider it the oldest rodeo in America.  Steeped in tradition it is one of the "best small town rodeos in the world."  Read more history>>

Schedule of Events


There are a few things to remember so that it is a safe and enjoyable time for everyone.

1.  No liquor/liquids in or out of the rodeo grounds, this includes water bottles.  These items can be purchased at the rodeo grounds
2.  All bags/backpacks are subject to search.
3.  No weapons allowed.  (Knives, guns or explosives).
4.  No strollers in the bleachers.  Stroller parking areas are provided below the bleachers.
5.  No Coolers allowed
6.  No pop up canopies or oversized umbrellas.

You will see a full PRCA Rodeo with the following events:

Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Women's Breakaway, Mutton Bustin and Jr. Steer Riding.

Tickets are subject to availability and may not be available for purchase at the gates. It is always advisable to purchase online.

$10.00 cash per vehicle payable upon entry to the Payson Event Center. Parking is limited and subject to availability. Overflow parking is available across the highway at the Casino. Drop off for handicap is available. Please mention this to the parking attendants and they will direct you. As with any venue, handicap parking is limited.

Various food and merchandise vendors are available at the rodeo grounds. Adult beverages are available for purchase from the Payson Pro Rodeo Committee. Must be 21 or older and comply with the Arizona Liquor Laws.
